I am a very passionate racing fan. I have been a huge Nascar racing fan for a long time but when I found the local dirt racing track I was hooked. Living in Everett WA, I attend Skagit Speedway as much as possible while still spending time with my wife and 2 young kids. Why did I start this site? I was always on the internet trying to find out all the information I could on dirt racing and realized besides press releases from tracks and teams and the message boards that there just wasn't much coverage and you couldn't hear audio from the drivers except for post race interviews at the track. I found this site in the NY area called Dougs Dirt Diary and talking to him a few times on email inspired me to try to start something here in the Northwest. So in March of 2010 I came up with the name and started talking to people. I had no idea how it would turn out and they defiantly got better as the season went on. By the end of the season it became clear that people really enjoyed the podcasts and the interviews. So in 2011 I keep meeting new people and covering more people that are part of the dirt racing scene.
